FUN, INCLUSIVE, AND SUPPORTIVE HELP FOR ALL FAMILIES

Big Kids Way is a short form online video series, to entertain kids and provide parents, educators, and therapists with tools for certain anxious or fearful events in a young one's life - such as the dreaded haircut!

The series is designed to be an inclusive viewing experience for young children, including those on the Autism Spectrum who resonate with social stories, along with action and activity modeling.

The Big Kids Way toolkit includes video resources that are designed with easy-to-follow language, step-by-step storyboarding, and engaging visuals & characters.

Our fun superhero, Zavi Wavy, proudly displays an Autism puzzle piece, symbolizing understanding, support, and inclusivity. Our hero and his friends use "Big Kid Tools" to help tackle their fears, and learn that "It’s OK to Do It The Big Kids Way!"

I’M NAZ, AND BIG KIDS WAY IS MY STORY

After experiencing some “bumps” along my parenting journey with my now 3 year old son, I learned that parenthood doesn’t come with a perfect manual, but it does come with a supportive community -- and I wanted to contribute to mine. The Big Kids Way came to life.

These are fun, and engaging animated stories that can help with the sometimes challenging parts of childhood, like getting a haircut!

My hope is that any parent/caregiver that needs a little aid in preparing their child, for the sometimes overwhelming experience of getting a haircut, can find The Big Kids Way video a helpful tool.
